Canopy by Hilton London City Makes a Debut in the UK

The first Canopy by Hilton in London has made a debut in the vibrant neighbourhood of East London, setting new standards for lifestyle travel. The 340-room hotel is primarily positioned within the Minories development opposite Aldgate underground station.
Spread across 12 floors, the property features three food outlets. A café and a bar offer breakfast, lunch, and an energetic workspace. The destination restaurant, Penny Squares opening soon, is inspired by the international flavours of London’s east end neighbourhoods. The restaurant offers a delicious menu of modern British cuisine for guests to enjoy. Florattica Rooftop Terrace will open in 2022 featuring dazzling views of the city.
Canopy by Hilton London city is located among some of the most famous tourist attractions such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Gherkin and Walkie Talkie and the list goes on.
The hotel offers a unique transfer lounge for guests arriving early or leaving late with lockers, a walk-in shower, private changing, and cabins. A spacious 24-hour Fitness Studio inspires serious workouts to fitness enthusiasts. The Retreat is an inviting quiet space where guests can work or relax. Paws in Neighbourhood programme extends its hospitality to the four-legged friends, greeted with their own welcome gift, including treats from the neighbourhood.
In keeping with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose goal’s, Canopy by Hilton London City is committed to cutting its environmental footprint in half by 2030. Two of the three buildings that comprise this hotel have been repurposed in construction. A portion of the hotel’s energy will be derived from solar panels and a green roof allows the property to conserve heat without using additional energy. The hotel also sources the majority its of food and beverage from local suppliers, celebrating community farms, craft breweries and artisanal bakeries.
