Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead and manage the day-to-day goods-in/receiving operation for the hotel. We have commenced our search for an experienced Maintenance Manager to support the opening of the Westin London City Hotel & Residencies. In this exciting role, you will support the Chief Engineer in managing the Engineer team to ensure the general maintenance of the hotel and that its services are operating to an optimum level, acting as a person in charge in their absence. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of all Engineering functions including the following: Management of Engineering Operations and Budgets. Ensuring building and equipment licenses and certifications are current. Liaising with Chief Engineer to maintain property life safety systems (fire brigade equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems)

Due to open in the summer of 2021 and reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, you will be leading the reservation function to maximise the hotel's financial performance, as well as leading the reservations team. Duties and responsibilities for this amazing role includes the following: Delivering consistency of high level of excellence to ensure complete satisfaction of both internal and external customers and maximize the financial performance of the hotel. Ensure maximum occupancy and average room rate is achieved at all times by efficient up selling and cross selling of the hotel facilities. Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relevant pricing decisions on property performance.

Due to open in the summer of 2021 and reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will liaise regularly with the sales team and Marriott’s Global Sales Office (GSO) to develop the hotel’s key Corporate market. Duties and responsibilities for this amazing role includes the following: • Researching and targeting potential new corporate accounts within the Square Mile. • Conducting rate negotiations and coordinating contracting for key local corporate accounts. • Responsibility for room-night and revenue production from allocated accounts. • Monitoring corporate account production on a monthly basis, with comparison targets and market share percentage.

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you will be the main lead in creating a positive stay for our guests from pre-arrival to post departure. The Wine Curator is, alongside the Bar Manager, the face of the newly opening destination wine bar at The Westin London City. Being both the hotel’s head of all things vinological and a knowledgeable wine presence, the Wine Curator is the person who will drive wine sales through an exciting and engaging presence in the operation. They will conduct wine tastings, develop the wine list in tandem with the Bar Manager, drive the success of the wine club and create a sense of buzz and excitement around each guest interaction – whether on premises or online.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part the pre-opening team at the The Westin London City, reporting into the Director of Sales and Marketing and managing one Meetings and Events Executive. This position reactively sells the hotel, managing the sales phase of incoming complex events, group and catering enquiries through to contract stage. This position has the additional responsibilities of a manager; reporting results, adjusting the reactive sales strategy to meet market demands and leading their team to positive individual and team results.

Reporting into the Front Office Manager, the Night Manager assists in managing front office functions and leading staff on the Night Team. This is an incredibly responsible role as the Night Manager is the manager on duty all throughout the night and has ultimate decision-making capabilities and empowerment for all that might occur on shift. In addition to its management remit, the Night Manager must also ensure and effective Front Office experience, including the management of guest and employee satisfaction to maximise the financial performance of the department.

The Chief Steward reports into the Executive Chef and manages the daily kitchen utility operations and staff. Areas of responsibilities include dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating and food running. This very important role supervises kitchen employees not actively engaged in cooking (e.g., stewards, pot wash, etc.). The role focuses on continually improving guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

The Guest Relations Manager serves as the property Manager on Duty and oversees all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. The role will serve as an on-property point of contact for a subset of loyal guests starting with, at the minimum, all Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite guests and assisting with upcoming reservations. He/she will be responsible for building relationships with as many guests as possible through email communications initiated prior to arrival. The Guest Relations Manager role manages the flow of questions and directs guests within the lobby and also represents property leadership in resolving any guest related situation.

Reporting into the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will be an essential part of the smooth opening and operation of the Westin London City Hotel and Residences. This role will have leadership remit of all areas and kitchen teams at the hotel, including the all-day dining restaurant, destination wine bar kitchen, in-room dining, and banqueting operations. Some key duties of this incredible role will be: Effectively and successfully overseeing the pre-opening, launch and post opening phases of the business. Developing the standards with regards to preparation and presentation of the food offering.

As a Maintenance Engineer, Your role is to ensure that through your technical knowledge, skill and craft, you will consistently maintain our products and material to the highest standard for all our guests and employees to enjoy. Working as part of the Engineering team you will undertake a range of planned and corrective maintenance duties to ensure that our back of house areas, plants, public areas along with guest bedrooms are presented at the highest standard.
