Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha Provide 499,099 Meals (and Counting) in Support of International Hunger Relief

This Ramadan, the team at Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha once again held its own charitable initiative, Embrace Ramadan, put on by the hotel for over a decade with the goal of raising support to feed the hungry around the world. To date, the hotel have provided 499,099 meals in support of the International Hunger Relief project, working in collaboration with the United Nations Food Programme.
This year alone, the team have worked with their fundraising partner to pledge a further 10,582 meals over the Ramadan period. A number of guests and locals supported the initiative, many breaking their fast at the @thegemgarden restaurant .
A cheque was presented to Karine Ataya, Fundraising Officer at The World Food Programme by members of the hotel management team including Roxana Jaffer, Vincent Dsouza and Alfred Banas, Manager of Gem Garden Restaurant along with Steven Allsopp, Chief Commercial Officer of 4C Hotel Group.
