One Step Closer | 4C Hotel Group Takes Up Easter Challenge for Children’s New Sensory Room at LDN.

7 April 2021

As Kathy Calvin from the United Nations Foundation once said, ‘Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference.’  Never have these words been truer, particularly following the pandemic this year as 4C Hotel Group have re-started their fundraising campaign, kick-starting the year with an Easter Raffle for the Learning Disability Network London (previously the Westminster Society).

At the start of 2020, the charity was £4k away from getting their children’s sensory room and although fundraising activities stalled for the charity due to the pandemic, we are hopeful that 2021 will be different.

The Learning Disability Network London provides services for people with a range of needs including complex and profound and multiple disabilities. Recognised and awarded for outstanding care in the community the charity is looking to expand its services across London. Refurbishment of their kitchen facilities, a new sensory room, and additional funds are needed to support the growing needs.

Our raffle took place over Easter, with donors given a chance to win a luxury Easter hampers and be entered into our prize draw to win a stay at the Canopy by Hilton – London City.   Our lucky winners received a range of Easter goodies from Cartwright and Butler, Hotel Chocolat and vouchers kindly donated by Greggs.

It was great to receive support from the public even during these uncertain times, as well as companies such as Fladgate LLP, X Construct coming forward to support the cause.

To date we have raised approximately £2000 for the Learning Disability Network London and hope to raise more.

On behalf of our friends at Learning Disability Network London, 4C Hotel Group would like to thank everyone for their support and donations.

Such acts of kindness have made a huge difference and we are a step closer towards funds for the sensory room. To donate please click here.
